for a city girl
(k.zafeiropoulos)
She´ s just a shiny city-girl,
she really loves her boyfriend
she never walked too far with herself
She wakes up in the morning,
she smiles in the dawn
she always has been scheduled for her day
Her heroes-portraits on the wall
they are all shining there
her letters all placed ordently , excepting one
One day she woke up on the floor,
policemen standing at the door
she tried to pick a handmade cigarette
Somebody must have lost control,
she could not understand a cause
her innocence was something never asked
And her eyes have been the only truth
of what she ever wanted to
the papers only wrote about a woman´s death
